Dr. Scott Mundle, a 1983 graduate of the University of Waterloo, CANADA, began his involvement in organized Optometry early in his career as a Councillor for the Manitoba Association of Optometrists (CANADA) in 1986. Since then, Dr Mundle took active roles in various provincial committees including Chair of the MAO Scope of Practice Committee; Chair of the Manitoba Law Reform Commission Review; Secretary-Treasurer, Vice-President, and President, MAO. Dr. Mundle became the Manitoba Councilor to the Canadian Association of Optometrists in 1996 and was President from 2002 to 2004 and is currently the President of WCO. Dr. Mundle is a recipient of the CAO President’s Award in 2015 and the University of Waterloo 50th Anniversary Distinguished Alumni of Honour Award.
